PCB Handling
FlexLink offers a complete line of PCB handling units?which incorporate standard assembly features throughout the product range. All modules have ESD safe designs and are CE marked. The complete product range utilizes an “open transfer” rail system connected to a precision guided width adjust system.
The “open transfer” belt drive system eliminates shafts and bellows by incorporating a dual motor, ESD safe belt system. This rail/width adjust system serves as the base platform for all products. The flexibility and quality of this system allows FlexLink to offer the most technically advanced conveyor platforms in the business.
The PCB product line incorporates modular stand-alone units that are truly independent from other modules in the system. Each module has an on-board control system which allows the unit to function independently. Each module is able to be linked to other modules in the system by utilizing their upline and downline SMEMA communications.

All cables enter through the base plates of the modules, eliminating the need for external holes. All edge belt modules are available with either slide, hand-crank, or programmable width adjust options. All modules can be designed to incorporate either high level flow management software or basic speed control systems.

F1000 Destacker
The bare board destacker is used to introduce unpopulated boards into the production line where line length is limited. The module can hold a 300 mm tall, 30 kg stack of boards. The unit separates boards by using a technically advanced releasing mechanism.
F1100 Inverter
The board inverter is used to invert a PC board when required in top-side/bottom-side manufacturing. The unit uses a servo controlled high speed rotate mechanism to invert the board with pinpoint accuracy in a short 8-second cycle time.
F1200 FIFO/LIFO Buffer
The FIFO/LIFO buffer uses a state of the art high-speed servo control system which accurately positions the carriage for precise board transfers. The transport system design eliminates the need for pushers, or belted assemblies.
