 Janome JP Servo Assembly System provides in-process quality inspection with programmable parameters to ensure a perfect part every time. The JP Servo Assembly System allows multiple position, force, and dwell times while continually monitoring every aspect of the assembly process. Decreased power consumption and the elimination of hydraulic or airlines provides for a cleaner work cell; class 10 clean room version available. Programmable feedback to a PC displays force and position graphs while sampling data every millisecond from onboard load cells and encoders. Application
Our press is widely used for plugging cross-drilled channels in ABS valve bodies. The Electro Press can be programmed to press to a touch load to determine part contact. Then the press will insert the ball/plug to a specified depth from contract point while sensing force throughout the stroke. Multiple judgement areas can be programmed to look for specific force-distance signatures.
Probe limit positions are also set to ensure part or tooling damage does not occur.
